Amber
Natural amber is a fossil resin with a glassy appearance, formed from conifers that lived up to 50 million years ago.
After a long process of fossilization, the resin that escaped from these trees solidified, forming what we know as stone: natural amber.
Natural medicine specialists recommend wearing natural amber, containing up to 8% succinic acid and also used by the pharmaceutical industry for natural amber medications , for thyroid disorders, bronchitis, tonsillitis, or toothache.
In northern European countries natural amber is a natural remedy. Jantar, as the stone with beneficial properties is called, is used for children and babies to relieve pain during teething.
